Effects Loop/Slave on Sunn amps
« on: February 20, 2003, 02:04:13 pm »
I am looking to by a Sunn amp because I have heard they have a great clean tone. I am really unfamilier with Sunn equipment so I figured I would ask here first if any Sunn amps have this capability. I would like to hook up a Mesa Boogie preamp for the distortion sound for that thick, heavy sound into a Sunn amp for the clean tone (pristine clean tone from what I've heard). I've seen some of the slave amps but they don't have any tone knobs from what I've seen from the pictures, I could be wrong. If anyone can lend any advice, anything would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure of the original T's have a slave/input, but the Fender models have a main amp in(master-in)/slave out.

However, the tone/volume settings of the master amp will control the settings on the slave, according to the manual.

I've been told that the origianl t has a 600ohm out that could be used to send to a "power amp"

what would Sabbath do?
