actually, splitting your guitar signal into two different amps makes a huge sound, very wide, especially when you use two different types of amps with different settings, for example, with my own band Orange Sunshine we use to split the signal with an old delay pedal with 2 outputs (batteries on, effect off!) and go into one hiwatt for the high and high-mid frequencies and into a model t for the lows and low-mid, the hiwatt is running 2 4x12 cabs and the model t is running 2 2x15 cabs, the result is quite impressive! that sound so full, from deep growly thunder to mean and sharp brightness, super sustain with creamy howling tone! you can also switch the delay on and put it on a short delay time (around 50 milliseconds), which makes it even more stereo. you can also daisy chain without problems with the model t, so you don't need to use a pedal to split your guitar signal, the T is doing that at its inputs (with 2 direct-outs), put your guitar lead into the middle input and go from the direct-outs straight into 2 other amps, enjoy! cheerio, guy
