I thought I'd make a thread for people to post pictures of their Sunn gear. I'll post mine later when I get home (I'm at work). Everyone likes pictures of gear, esp old gear so post away. Also it'll give the owner of the site dangpow.com/~sunn to use our pics on the pages of his site.

Neither of these photos were taken by me, and the 4x12 shown is not the one the Concert is resting on.  The pics were taken by the previous owners prior to purchase.

By the way, this is a great setup, the Carvin does an amazing job of amplifing the beautiful Sunn tone, so I thought I'd include a photo of my cabinet for posterity.

Well, the above Guest is I.  The hosting service didn't show though, so I'll just link to my image gallery here:

Also, I don't own the Concert Slave or 2x15 Cabinet pictured with the Orion.  For those who don't know, the Orion is a bass preamp fitted in an amp head chassis that is very rare from my understanding.  (But is any Sunn gear all that common?)

Deep Fryer... could you possibly post a picture (or at least describe) what the back panel of your Orion looks like?  In my Orion article I mention that I think mine is a prototype because of the plain back panel and lack of a serial number, and I would sure be interested in either proving or laying that assumption to rest.

Thanks!!

There you go Joe.  Mine's back panel looks very similar to your's.  I had no idea about a footswitch though.  :-?   Mine must have been removed.  Oh, and "Messina & Loggins" was stenciled on the back by one of the amp's prior owners.

Here is a picture of my Coliseum 300 on top of my carvin 2x15 cabinet.  I also run it through my carvin 4x12 (bottom) cabinet.  I agree the carvin's are a great cabinets for sunn amp heads.

Tom, your cabinets aren't the same size. What do you have there?
