to purchase (coliseum bass amp) or not to purchase

Greetings all. I have been searching for a concert bass for a while but now i have the opporttunity to buy a sunn coliseum bass amp and sunn 1x18 cab for $500/ $400 if i can talk him down. the cab will need reconing, but this sounds like a sweet deal. all responses will be appreciated. thanks

I've had a Coliseum w/2 1-18 cabs since 1971. It has been a great
amp. I still use one of the 18s under a 410XLT with assorted heads
and it still sounds very good. I prefer it to my Eden D18.

I took both cabs and head to a job sometime back and had complaints
from the two guitar players about the volume. Its just a big, rich sound.
Great with a Jazz Bass.
