model T for bass?

I own a 1976 model T that I use for guitar. My son wants to learn to play bass. Can he use the model T, and what kind of cabinet/speakers should I buy? Thanks

yes yes yes i recomend a sunn 2-15 if you get one.

You bet!  This is a great bass or guitar amp.  Like slade suggested, I am using a Sunn 215B cab right now and the combination rocks!  If you want to play loud and clean, I'd suggest an efficient speaker/cab design,  Newer cabs really want to suck the power -- because they can.  New solid-state bass heads can be very powerful compared with the tube beasts from the old days.

The Model T is a fine bass amp.  You only need to remember to use a bass cabinet, and not go nuts with the ch2 gain.  Ciao.

get a cab w/ 2 jbl 15's or two single cabs
w/ a jbl 15 in each. run at 4 ohms
JBL + SUNN = great tone
i've tried em all and this is the best
