What impedence to recone single D130?

Hi,

i picked up a vintage fender bassman esque extension cab with a single d130 in it for 40.00!, but its loose and flabby..

i can get it reconed with the E 140 kit and i have a choice of 16 or 8 ohms.. im thinking i might pick up another 1x15 or 2x15 cab at some pont... i run a conert bass head.

what impedednce would give me the most flexibilty to run multiple cabinets in the future?

I'd think 8, myself, but if you plan on running a lot of cabinets, 16 might be better.
