Concert Slave and a Model T
« on: February 06, 2005, 11:02:57 pm »
Could I run a Concert Slave with my Model T? If so how would I hook them up together? I have a '74 Model T, a Matamp 4x12 (400 watts), and a Sunn 215S cab with 600 watt Carvin PS15C's in it. The cabs are wired to 16 ohms. I know I really don't need the slave, but I came across one that is dirt cheap and I was just curious about how it would sound and work with my other gear. Thanks.

You could run a concert slave with a model T - use the 600 ohm output
jack for input to the slave.  However, the concert slave will do best into
a 4 ohm speaker load.  Since they are separate outputs, the model T
could still drive a 16 ohm (I assume you change the impedance selector on the model T).
