I have the same amp but mine is the white Sunn logo.  I can't find any information on this amp besides the manual but the manual I have it for my white sunn not this Red logo Sunn.  It all looks the same except I have plastic corners instead of metal.

I saw the same looking amp(red logo) on Ebay that the guy from the band Sunn used for their first recording.

I think I found the generation in which these came from when browsing the sunn site
We have Sunn amps from the 80s Fender era maybe?

Hello:
If it has tolex covering, it is from the late seventies to about 1983. After that they started using a vinyl covering over particle board (mitre wrap) with plastic moldings and plastic corners (1983~1984). I am not sure how long fender made them after the buy-out. The amp runs 300 watts into 2 ohms using a 20-0135 / 20-0166 power amp board. The later ones had silver silkscreening including the logo. Rugged sturdy amps electrically although I was not too fond of the particle board models. The cabinet was heavy and does not stand up to that inadvertant drop out of the van. Cold weather will pop off the molding.

Hmm so that means I have a mid-80s 300 (plastic molding). Still sounds great I think, but I took it to a shop to get it looked at...then the repair guy had an emergency and hasn't gotten to it.  (just look at caps, pots and inputs)

I want it back now :S
