last night I picked up a late '60's 215, loaded with its original JBL D-140s, in very nice shape; it's the one with the earlier grill cloth, kind of salt and pepper, that sunn used before the rectanular silver cloth. It's one of the center port cabs, and sounds great with my '74 Model T.
Question: Is this grill removable? If so how? It looks like it is, and it looks as if it's on its own frame which is clearly separate from the baffle boards. I know later cabs had a kind of removable fastener, like a plastic industrial velcro. If you know, please let me know.
