is it that rare?
« on: May 20, 2005, 01:48:03 pm »
i recently got an old sunn PA speaker from my dads friend who bought awhile back for his kids but never used it. its a model 8, or so it says, but the most i have seen throughout tons of searching online, is a picture in the 1979 catalog of this site. i havent seen a single thing more than this. Does anyone here know about this amp, or where i can find out about it? i know almost nothing about it except the infomation given on the back panel.

Hello:
The model 8 speakers are my favorites of the early models. 81-0145 15" woofer. RCF horn and driver (I have 2 NOS RCF drivers) and piezo tweeters which sounded OK cuz they were crossed over pretty high. I used them for small combo PA. VOX and kick sent through a SR8200 or SGA310.
What questions do you have?
