The SL160 was in production in the early 80's. 60 watts of crunchie sound. Was available with Sunn or Celestion speaker. As solid state amps go it was OK but I prefered the Stagemaster. The Celestion speaker helped a little but it just didn't have the dynamic balls of he Stagemaster and fell way short of the tube amps. Good practice amp. I can't remember who designed this one. It was discontinued in 1984. If you got to the 1984 catalog on this site you will see it. The dealer price should be listed in the 1984 price list as well.
