beta bass question
« on: September 12, 2005, 07:03:36 pm »
i was blowing fuses on the power section of my beta 20-0135e beta bass power board. i suspected the power amp transistors and found two bad ones, a 223056 and sj954. I have replaced both of these with their matching NTE replacements NTE130 and NTE219 respectively. After powering the unit up I noticed that the case is getting hot, it appears to be coming from the NTE130 which is in the third (left to right) position. I am not sure where to go from here. any ideas?
thanks!

-- had the same problem, then it magically just stopped being a "bad" amp.
