Several bands that use sunn

When I went to see High on Fire, JOE PRESTON was definitely using a red knob Sunn of some sort, I'm guessing coliseum bass or something along that line.

And speaking of people who played with the MELVINS, King Buzzo has a model T he uses in conjunction with, I think, a marshall of some sort.

Isis started using Model-Ts at some point.

All the bands I really like have pretty much been listed.

Does the Bass Player in YOB use sunn?  Cuz I know the guitarist uses all MatAmp stuff.

There's an amazing local Omaha, Nebraska band BACK WHEN (myspace.com/backwhen   -or-   www.thebackwhencollective.com) and they use a ton of Sunn/Earth stuff.

Yob has broken up, but last year when they played at Sabala's in Portland, Mike (guitar/vocals) was playing a SUNN solid state amp of some sort (in the "lead" series of amps). But I know he owns a lot of Orange and Matamp gear as well.

The Melvins' new bassist (Jared of Big Business) was using a monster of a setup, two Beta Bass, a 2x15 cab (I think), and a Orange 4x12. King Buzzo was also using two Sunn power amps (SA something or something).

Yeah, I think Aaron Turner is using a Model T and either a 1000s or 1200s.

Cave In-Stephen Broadsky uses a Model T. Adam McGrath is using two Sunn heads...a 1000s is one of them I think.

Greg Anderson a Model T in Sunn, Goatsnake, Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine, etc.

Stephen O'Malley a Model T in Sunn, Khanate and all his other million projects.

Takeshi of Boris runs his guitar signal through a Model T.

Buzz Osborn beta leads...

Pelican...one of the guitarists uses a Model T.

the old bass player from Mouth of the architect uses sunn gear too, not sure if the new guy does, its the old botch bass player. The demo i've got when the old bass player was there is massive, the bass is huge! he uses a 2 15" not sunn though i think

So, the other week, I was out checking out two of my favourites, and of course, they use Sunn!

Cursed's Christian McMaster plays through a Concert Lead, and Modern Life is War's bassist plays a Fender reissue Model T.  The guitarist in front of me was playing through a Traynor YBA-1, so it brought a nice tear to my eye, seeing a fine Canadian amplifier in such a fantastic band.

Just thought drop that!
