I posted in detail over in the Q&A section; in a nutshell, on my '70/'71 s.s. rectifier Scepter, as I turn up the reverb, it becomes increasingly distorted and louder(and shrill), overwhelming the "dry" signal. I tried replacing the 12au7 tube with an even lower gain tube, no change. The 'verb pot is getting harder to turn-could it be the source of the bad fuzztone(incorrect ohms?), or dying caps or resistors, or what? The tremelo is weak; it "warms up" after a while, but intensity & speed never get to where they should be. I assume the optical plug-in thing is wearing out; anyone have a salvaged one they'd like to sell? Thanks for any help!!!
