i have a bass coliiseum head { with polarity switch } and a grounded { three prong }power cord has been put on. anyone know how to make sure it is installed correctly so i dont fry, die, and say good-bye.

Very simple... zero out the scale of an ohm meter. Then, place one probe on the round center prong of the three prong plug. Place the other probe on one of the nuts fastening either one of the input jacks to the front panel. If you read zero ohms... you are all set. If you read anything other than zero... you could be fried otherwise.
