info on replacing a speaker

i am replacing a speaker in my 3x12 sunn cab. the old speakers and the new one are both 100watt, 8ohms but diferrent brands. how do i replace the speaker.
any info will help

The most important thing is to make sure the speaker you are replacing is in phase with the old ones.

I use a 9 volt battery and make sure the cones on all speakers move in or out at the same time.  If one moves in the opposite direction than the other two, switch the connections on that speaker.
