I have just purchased a Sunn Concert bass head, serial number,A 73046.
It is in quite good shape and sounds as good as any of the new solid state amps I have tried out. I bought it as a back up amp,but it just might be the one I take to the job and plug in.Does anyone know where I could get a manual or schematic? When it was made?It says it was made by the Hartzel Corp.It has no distortion stage, only a bright switch.The 200 watts seems as powerful as my Ampeg SVT4Pro.I am impressed. I am using two Eden 2x10 XLT cabinets,but I feel the tone would really improve with a couple of 15 JBLS.
