Sunn Solos---first edition(?)

Dug out of storage an old Sunn that I used in the middle 70's...I 've seen info and pics of the Solos II, but none of the
Solos (1st edition I guess)...Any information on the original Sunn Solos would be great...are there any sites that have serial number information???

The thing is dead as far as I can tell, but I would like to get it up and running...what do amp repair shops charge per hour these days???
