GrooveTube 6550C's?

Hi,
This is both a question, and a heads up.   Firstly, the question....Does anyone know about the quality of GrooveTube 6550C's?  Their website says they don't last quite as long as the A's or R's.   Now the heads up (assuming they aren't notoriously unreliable)....They are at the Musician's freind website for 25 a pair, or $50 for a matched quad.  New tubes for my 1000s!!!!!

I suspect these Groove Tube 6550Cs are Svetlana 6550Cs. If so they could be OK, but they don't have the same big low end and won't last as long as US vintage 6550s.
I suggest you try the eI KT90 tubes. Most 6550 users think these are the best NEW 6550s on the market.
