«

Can I run the 880 through an SVT 410 and SVT 115 classic cabs stacked?
Both cabs are 8 ohms
Thanks

Depends how you connect them. In parallel it would make 4 ohms, which I would imagine is stable for the amp. Not so sure about 16 ohms, maybe try to find someone with a manual or a schematic to tell you? I'd run it at 4 if I were you until I was sure the amp is stable at 16 ohms.

I can't imagine why it wouldn't be. Higher impedances are rarely, if ever, a problem for solid state amps. It would reduce the power considerably, though. Still, why run series? The Coliseum amps are good down to 2 ohms, so 4 would be fine.

Thanks, Isaac; I wasn't sure if they were rated down to 2 ohms (although it is a bass amp, and most are rated down that low anyways I guess). Just didn't want a blown amp on my soul when I meet my maker
