Price for a 200S/2000S

Hi out there,

can someone help me out?  I'm looking for an old 200S or 2000S amphorse. The prices are form 700 to 1400 USD. Shure, it depends on the condition, but whats a commen price for these amps?

I think your range (700 to 1400 USD) is high, for one to be worth $1400 it would have to have been owned by Felix Pappalardi or Noel Redding.
However, should you feel like paying $1400 for a 2000S... Have I got some amps for you!
Their prices fluctuate, a little more stable lately, but still all over the place. 
The only easily trackable market that I have found for old Sunn gear is eBay, check there for what old Sunns sold for.
That should give you an idea of the commen prices.

I got a 200s with all original parts, worked perfectly, for only $500.  It also came with a 610 cabinet.  It was on eBay listed as pickup only which is probably why I got it for such a great deal.

I got my 2000S on e-bay for $ 760 + shipping.

man, thanks a lot for your answers. The 1400 USD deal would have been impossible for me, but it's very hard to find the old Sunn stuff here in Germany. Well, the eighties amps are no problem but the seventies are rare. Thats's because all bassplayers in Germany want to get an Ampeg, Hiwatt or Fender etc. Thats why the new Sunnequipment faild on the german market. But maybe we can change this...

But you're talking sixties stuff. Early seventies at the latest.

well u sonetimes find the transistor amps in europe - coliseum etc. but i was looking for a 60ties amp. happiely i just got a sorado for just 400$ quit. i found the deal on this side- thump up!

the sorado is a good amp..it's the same as a 200s....just that the name is different. you should be happy with it...if you match it up to a 200s cab...it's a match made in heaven....

thanks for reply. edmass told me the same. the amp is great, i run it on two 4X10" new sunn/fender cab. even the low b works fine with it.
just got this sunn fever and bought an old 350B aswell. therefore my sunn/fender 1200s will have a go....thats live! i have to clean the 350B and set the tranformators back and send some pictures around - the 350B is juite a rare amp - i think.
