Model t as Preamp of 300t?
« on: March 13, 2007, 10:28:10 am »
Hi everyone!!!

I own a model T and a 300T heads and i know it's possible to chain model T's and 300T's between them, but do you if it's possible to mix them. I mean, can i use a Main Amp: 300T chained to a Model T so then make the model T work as preamp for the 300T? How would i need to connect them aswell?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

wackee idea...two beautiful amps that have their very own sound-why would you wanna screw that up?
you would have to be able to access the power amp section of the 300 in order to have the pre(line out) of the T be used.
could be done w/ heavy modification.
i wouldnt doit.

Yeah I think it would be too difficult to be worthwhile. Not to mention alot of the good tone from the model t comes from the power section.
