channel select pedal
« on: May 02, 2007, 09:01:52 am »
Hi,

I've just purchased a sunn reverb and channel select pedal for my sunn 1200 but now i've got it it doesn't fit anywhere in the back of my amp!

Is there any way of changing over the connecter or do i need to sell it?

Cheers

What connectors do you have on the footswitch and amp?

If the amp has RCA jacks and the footswitch has something like a stereo phone plug, it's much simpler to pickup an adapter, usually a short cable type at Radio Shack.

you got a footswitch for the Beta Lead, and your amp is not the beta lead thusly it cannot plug into it

Yes indeed, you have the footswitch for a Beta series amp.  Unfortunately, because it is such a different beast from the tube amps, there really isn't a way to convert it by chopping plugs.

Head over to the "Classifieds" forum, there might be some  people here looking for one.  Alternatively, there is also eBay.  I bought mine for around $70, and that is on the cheaper side.
