Can you be a little more specific as to what you mean by "fried"?

Well, I now understand "fried"

Just one small clarification - that is not a preamp board, that is the power amp board.

Oh thank you for clarifying, I brought it to my band teacher who quickly glanced at it and looked at the skechy schematics that I found online and he was just guessing that it was a preamp.

I bought it from a kid who said that the last owner blew it up. So I don't really know the story behind it. I'm guessing that the capacitor blew up. (rockin' too hard maybe? idk)

Do you know if I can get a replacement or is it possible to save the board and repair it? Or would I have to go all out and rebuild the entire board?

I would say that, unless someone has a box of solid state Sunn boards sitting in the back of their repair shop somewhere, you're looking at re-building it.  Depends on how good you are with electronics.

Replacing it might involve finding another amp that either a) works fine, and you can use that or cannibalize it, or preferably b)has the opposite problem (pre-board is blown).

Truly fried.

I have never had any luck repairing solid state boards that are actually burnt like this one. The base material is cooked and has no strength. I suppose someone may know how to do it. You could make a new one with an experimenters PC board like you get from Radio Shack. Might not be pretty...but it could be done.

Something else went bad for that kind of damage, a rectifier, caps, somewhere else before this stage something failed.

You'll want to be very careful choosing components if you do decide to rebuild it - make sure the board especially has the proper heat tolerances to be holding output transistors, and voltage ratings on caps match as well as wattage on resistors.

My electronics skills are not that impressive, I know how to solder, but that's just about it. Does anyone have a spare board sitting around in their garage collecting dust?...

That, my friend, is the million dollar question.

You might take it to your local shop and ask them for a quote - just to get another option.

I'm thinking now that I'm going to give up on it and sell it. Maybe someone else can save it. But thank you for all of the advice everybody. :)
