215b speakers

I know the 215b that went with a 200s or 2000s came loaded with JBL D140f's, but what type of speakers came in later models of the 215b cabinets. I have the 215b without a grill cloth cover and with metal grate type covers over each speaker with a white logo (1982, I think.) ...That probably won't help anybody. -At any rate, I'd try to put the old JBL's if I could find some,but I'm wondering what other speakers might sound best in it?

These came with model 145 speakers.  I have one if you're interested. :wink:

The bad part about putting JBL's into a front mount cabinet is they are just a bit larger frequently. You have to trim some wood to get them to fit.

It is worth it IMHO. My 140's sound great in the side port cabinet. Actually, a bit too much low end.
