Heads up if you are near Columbus Ohio
« on: July 23, 2007, 07:50:08 am »
Music Go Round on Bethel has stacks of Sunn gear, including Model T's (originals and reissues).  PA's cabs, everything.  Also a lot of really nice Fender and Ampeg gear.  It all came from an estate sale.  One person with a serious gear buying streak had been hording it all in his barn.  Everything is in very good condition.  Literally 10's of thousands of dollars of Vintage gear way cheaper then you would get it on Ebay.  I got my 880 from there for 150 bucks.

I think I might make the drive down there. Hopefully there's still a lot left.

Do they have a website?

http://www.musicgoround.com/

I went down there a couple of days ago and bought a (fender made) 412.

They also had:

2 2x15bh
2 (fender made) 4x12
3? Coliseum Slave (I think that's what they were.) All three were in pretty bad condition. But they were 149.99
And a concert controller

I asked about Model T's and didn't get an exact answer. One person told me they had 2 that were being fixed. While some other guy said they only had one that they already sold. So who knows.

can you remember if the 215BH cabs were empty or not? they are the only items on there listed "AS IS" and I can't really tell why other than if they were unloaded.

I'm pretty sure they did. I was going to buy one, but it wouldn't have fit in my car. I think they're just listed "AS IS" because the they were pretty banged up.

i have a bunch of Sunn stuff-but my go to rig is based on a RedKnob Model T and a 2X15BH w/ BlackWidows.
it is the heaviest overall guitar rig i have ever played.
thos spkr cabs are huge sounding.
i would pick up both of those if i were in that neighborhood.
then find some BlackWidows and be a very happy cat.
