Yep, old bass amps work great for guitar, Sunn, Fender and Traynor all sound nice through guitar.

Yea, I know that the tube bass heads are great for guitar. What about the solid state bass heads like my Concert Bass? Is it about as good for guitar as a concert lead? Judging by the popularity of the concert leads, they are being used alot for guitar nowadays by Stoners/Doom guys I guess.

Don't know the year of your concert bass... but if it is the early version with the distort control, that single channel is exactly the same as the concert lead's channel with the distort control.

I just tried out my SG through a Sonic 2 head (same as 200s) going into a 215BH. This is my sisters' bass rig and it sounded downright scary with guitar, especially detuned. One of the sconce light fixtures on the wall fell off... the Sonic 2 starts to break up nicely around 7, so there was a good grind underneath all the low end. Don't know about any solid state amps, but I bet the 215BH has a LOT to do with the massive sound.

Bass heads and cabs, are great for guitar. I use a 2000s head and cab. Before that I used a 300t and an 8x10. I guess they just sound bigger.
