Brownsville Station was a painfully loud band out of Michigan. They played at the Paramont Theater in Portland a couple of times when I worked there sometime around '72 to '74. I hesitate to copy pictures and post them here due to Copyright restrictions but checkout their unofficial website. You can clearly see the bass player using a Coliseum Bass and Coliseum Slave but you can't get a good look at what the guitar player is using.

The band brought their own drum riser and had two 4x8 sheets of plywood that were full of eyebolts. The position of every drum and cymbal stand was carefully marked and at least three bungie cords used to hold things in place. At the end of almost every song, the guitar and bass players would jump up on the corners of the drum riser, grind on the last cord, let it feed back for a second, then jump high in the air and cut the sound off as they hit the stage. Their biggest hit was "Smokin in the Boy's Room".

Kinda looks like a booth at a flea market. No rhyme or reason, just a discombobulated pile of ratty old gear.  :-D

Well, I'm not famous, but I'm better known than nobody at all!

See the second generation Model T atop the Fender-era Model 410H. Well, part of them, anyway.

it's great how townsend has those heads just sitting there on a chair.

not so sure that that is the band sunn's set up.   there are very few sunn cabinets.  not to mention that they would never bring themselves to play through kustom cabinets and sunn solid state heads.  plus, they have no drummer in the band.   and that isn't the drum set that boris was using when boris was on tour with sunn in the u.s.

just saying.  i could be completely wrong.

on closer inspection, you can see a model T with the chassis painted white.   i remeber seeing one like that when i saw sunn.   if it is them i am very surprised to see those kustom cabinets and solid state amps.
