Yes, communism could work. All it would take is a bunch of selfless people. Anarchy could work, too, if people were perfect.
Monarchy works well, when the monarch is both really good and really good at it. It would be a perfect system, and, unlike anarchy, you need only one perfect person to make it work. Of course, once he dies...
It seems to me that capitalism inevitably leads to monopolies and fascism, just as monarchy leads to tyranny, and communism to whatever that abortion was they had in the Soviet Union. Political and economic systems are unstable, and always tip one ditrection or another if not constantly corected.
Wow Isaac, I never realized you were so well brainwashed.
Consider just for a second - what if capitalism in a free marked was not "unstable" and didn't need constant correction as you have been led to believe?
Do you see?
Believing the "unstable", a source of change (which it is), corrections (change prevention mechanisms) can seem necessary. When normal change to market conditions is prevented, the non-adapting environment necessary for monopolies to thrive is created.
The entrenched monopolies prevent further change by killing off companies that could beat them all to heck in a free market situation by removing the necessary aspects of a free market. Like that little thing called competition.
Capitalism, in more of it's true form, with very little correction action (normally called interferrence) built the strongest country the world has ever known. The "Law of Supply and Demand"? Pure capitalism. But it doesn't exist when either side is attempted to be regulated. By itself, the law of supply and demand will guarantee that greed never enters the equation - and that is exactly why the greedy have to destroy it.
In the mid 19-teens, it was deemed by the powers that be that capitalism needed to be nicer - meaning nicer to greedy people. The federal reserve was created and through a few other "corrective actions" we as a country soon found ourselves in the greatest economic depression the world had seen in a long time.
And to get ourselves out of the depression mess?? We went towards socialism teachings. Social security, welfare... Heck, remember that "Income Tax" was instituted as a
temporary emergency measure? Today it still proves itself as a valuable way for the innocent to pay the wages of the guilty.
Which is why the vast majorty are trained to firmly and completely believe our mess is the result of the
nature of capitalism... and not the result of "
corrective actions". If you knew better, you never would support those corrective actions... and a free open market is not in the best interest of monopolies.
