'74 Catalog on ebay: SUNN MODEL T BASS ?

Hi,

just saw the '74 catalog on ebay. The index says: .... 190B (should be close to a 200S) ....190L (100S).... but then Model T Bass. I thought the Model T's were all guitar amps. Is the Model T bass a 350B (2000s) or ist it closer to a "guitar" Model T?

The original Model T is an amp. No reason at all it couldn't be used for bass as well as guitar, and it was advertised that way. Mine is a second generation Model T, and I use it for bass frequently. No reverb or tremolo that would mark it as a dedicated guitar amp, though my Sentura II has those and also works fine as a bass amp.

shure, U are right, an amp is an amp.

I was just wondering cos the catalog Index says:

Model T Bass
Model T Lead

so there should be two versions of it. Maybe the lead (guitar) version has a tremolo etc. and the bass version got none...something like that?  

Is the Model T sound "far" diffent from the Sunn 2000S? The power untit seems to be quite close to the Sunn 2000S but the preampsection is different.

I've never seen guitar or bass versions of the Model T. The Fender-era Model T was unquestionably a guitar amp, but they didn't make a bass Model T.

My guess is that the Model T is featured with guitar speakers on one page, and bass speakers on another. I am certain that it is the same amp, though.

yes, that sounds good. The Fender area Model T's do make me think all Model T's are more for guitar than for bass. The idea having one amp for bass &guitar - with different - is new for me.
