Sunn Concert Lead
« on: April 10, 2008, 03:28:48 pm »
Hi,

I'm the second owner of a Sunn Concert Lead with the 412 cabinet. Very good condition, no footswitch The Sunn logo has the red faceplate. Any idea what the resale value might be?

I have my eye on a Fender Twin Reverb. I haven't tried any resale shops because they always lowball you. I guess it depends on the value.

me too if your close enough :-D
I live way up north compared to you guys, like Canada north :x
kinda sucks for buying Sunn because most of it seems to be in California or the north west.  either way too far of a drive and I'd really need to want the amp to ship it.

I have the silverface model and actually love the sound.  however it's away being repaired right now.
I bought it(the head) for $175 Canadian.  I run it through a 70's model 212 Traynor.  it actually reponds like tubes in dynamics and tone.
why would you sell it?  it looks great on a shelf and is a very functional amp.  become a collector :-D

Based upon what I have seen for prices for other amps and the offers I have had for this one, I just might hang onto it. I can always but others, right?

I have a two-channel silver face of uncertain vintage and I love it. I have, however, had a tough time getting predictable, musical-sounding feedback with it. I recently started using a 16 ohm cab and, while my volume is reduced, the feedback sounds WAY better. And the gigs I play are all club gigs, so I'll miss the added volume. Just thought I'd add my bit - I'm a newbie and I love the site.
best,
