Troubleshooting a Sceptre.
« on: June 01, 2008, 08:18:55 pm »
There's a constant clicking sound coming from my amp, which is affected when the tremolo controls are manipulated, and gets louder or quieter when the volume is adjusted. I recently had it "serviced," and put in a new set of tubes, apparently to no avail as well. Any ideas of what this could be?

Hi there,it's probably a bad cap in the tremolo oscillator circuit since the trem. controls affect it.I think there is 3 or 4 small electrolytic caps. in the circuit.Just replace them all and that should do it.Good luck,Mel.
