sunn 6x12S for sale
« on: September 11, 2008, 05:43:06 pm »
Selling my 6x12s in perfect shape except for some scratches on the back panel from loading in and out. Grill cloth is perfect and it still has both handles, I bought it in a package deal with a silverface concert lead about a year ago. I Just don't have a use for it anymore. Make me an offer, I will get some pics soon also if you are interested. I will ship, but I'm sure it will cost a small fortune Thanks!

I'd definitely love to see some photos.  I bought one on the forum about 6 or so months ago from Illinois.  The shipping was about $80 to Toronto, and Brokerage fees were worse.  However, I love that cabinet, so it was well worth the cost.  If I didn't just buy a new guitar, I'd love to take that cabinet off your hands, but hopefully someone will!

Hey if you ever get the money let me know, I'm not in a huge hurry to sell it, I just want money to buy some more gear, plus i play in a band with two guys from London so if you're in Toronto it would be easier to meet somewhere. do you have anything you want to trade?

For the record, I have a rubber arm when it comes to ridiculously excessive cabinets. :)

Drop me a PM regarding how much you're looking to get for it.  I have a Beta Lead and a Traynor YBA-1A MKII head, both of which I love, but I don't necessarily *need* four heads in total, so who knows.  Let me know what you're thinking, though!

Thanks,

Sorry to say, but the trade went through, and I own that cabinet now.  They seem to be popping up around here quite a bit, though.

Good luck!

The cabinet sounds spectacular!  Less bass-y then my 412L, but it still has solid low-end.

I have two 612S cabinets, so if I ever sell one, I'll keep you posted, though it doesn't seem likely. :p

Sounds like the ideal cab.  What does the angled baffle do to the sound?

C'mon man...you know you don't need two 612's.  That's ridiculous.  Which is exactly why you should keep both of them.  I gotta stop shooting myself in the foot...Seriously though holler at me if you want to sell one, I've got a sweaty wad of cash waiting to get spent.

I need to play as loud as possible, and two cabinets pushing 700 watts should get me close to where I need to be, y'know?

If I ever do decide to sell one, I'll let you know, though!
