Reissue Sunn T412

Are these Fender Reissues compressed wood or ply? Does anyone know?

I don't know for sure, but my Model 215 appears to be plywood.

It'd be a lot heavier if it were made of MDF.

I just know that the Fender made 410H is all nice until you get to the front. It's thick because it has about a 2 inch strip of compressed wood so really not the thick wood built like the old one. Just made to look that way when you have tolex on but take off the tolex and you see the fakeness!

According to the product literature, it's made out of 11-ply Birch.

i've never looked inside of mine, though.
