I just acquired a Sunn 200S bass amp, and have two speaker cabinets (48x30x15), each with two D140F JBL bass speakers.  At the back of the amp, there is an 8ohm and 4ohm input jack for a speaker cabinet.  How can I run both cabinets from this amp (or was it only designed to handle one cabinet?).

Thanks for your help!

In 1970 I had a Sunn 200S and two cabinets with 2 Sunn 15" transducer speakers in each.  I just plugged one cabinet in the 8 ohm and one in the 4 ohm and it sounded great.  It never seemed to hurt anything.  I used this setup for six years with no problems.  If they are 8 ohm cabinets then I am most confident that they will work fine.

Based on those dimensions, you actually have 2000S cabs instead of 200S cabs. I hope you have a strong back and a big vehicle!
