Just took my Concert Bass in to get repaired AGAIN, and waiting on some dude to get back from a trip to ship me a 215B he's got waiting for me.

Haha Don't get me wrong the right fridge can push a ton of air.
For some reason though 15's just sound awesome and different than 10's
They have tons of guts and low end.

I love my fridge, except it doesn't match and it moves TOO much air. But it's good to hear that the 215B is going to be equally as powerful.

Just got this rig yesterday. It's in way better condition than my other Concert Bass. And of course 2 15's sound so much better than my 4X10.

here's my actual setup in my new practice room...I can now play my 3 heads like always which, I did lots of upgrades lately...



Got some GFS Power Rails now:




and I found the ultimate secret weapon of the sound of sludge doom, it kills any BigMuff or Rat out there:



my pedal board have been re-structured:



I did a clip today with the setup in the picture, the center Bass amp is not recorded but I have 2 room mics that get it a bit

I only use the Superchard OD and Bass Big Muff no reverb in this clip, I also did a drone improv on my amps I'll post later on...

Chev, is that just egg shell cartons on the walls?  How does that work as far as deadening the room goes? I've heard sooo many people say it's a myth and it doesn't work at all.

Also, I love that Cathedral reverb and if I had more money would totally buy one. So jealous.

Back in the day we would use egg carton sleves to deaden the room.  It really works quite well.  The principal is to diffuse the sound so it doesn't bounce around.  Some of that old long shag carpet from the 60's and 70's works pretty well also.  The best stuff is still the accoustic foam panels.
