Sunn Sentura 1 - is a footswitch required for reverb and trem?

Hello, I have a 68 sentura I with no footswitch - neither the reverb or the trem work - do you have to have a footswitch to turn these on or are they wired to be on even without the footswitch? Thanks!

They may have been disabled.  I've come across a few amps where the owners disable them for whatever reason. You can try plugging an RCA connector into either of the jacks, which may activate the reverb/tremolo.
