Model T mkI rectifier
« on: December 19, 2009, 02:13:34 pm »
On the redknob schem it does not list a diode description (just part number) for the rectifier and there is only one for each side. Do you think I can use a 1N5408 for each side or could I go with the standard 1N4007 multiple situation. My math sucks, does anyone have a hint? Is 3A right  :?

Sunn used a special 1200V part. Use two 1N4007's in series on each side.

I see. 3000V is total overkill! Thanks.
