sunn model 8 speaker cab.

does anyone have the schematic for these cabinets ? I need to know what resistor and capacitor to use and the resistor is pretty burned up lookin,cant make out the color bands. Thanks

I Don't know the values but i need to know also sinse i have the same problem

I don't have a schemo but have you tried measuring the resistor with a meter? The first two bands look like red, yellow from where I sit and this might give you a ballpark. Unless it's "open"  these resistors typically tend to drift upwards and it's possibly a +/- 20% tolerance to begin with. A magnifying glass in good light is sometimes helpful, better yet an otoscope.
Does the capacitor have any markings on it?

I see this is a somewhat old post, so let me know if you have already solved the problem. I don't remember the exact values we used, (the Model 8 pre-dates my time at Sunn), but I think we just used a resistor and cap in series with the horn driver. I THINK we used a 16 ohm RCF compression driver , but not positive. If you can read the info off of the driver, I can give you some values of resistor and cap that should work fine. I'll respond quicker if you send it directly to my email, rather than posting it here...I might miss it.  Let me know.
