univox superfuzz need help
« on: February 02, 2010, 10:58:17 pm »
i have been searching for a univox superfuzz not the grey box version but the orange box version like fu manchu use and i believe the bestie boys used one on there song gratitude anyway i have found 2 so far but geez there from $475 to $700 believe it or not the on on ebay was the cheapist anyway so i have decided to go with a clone but my problem starts again no one makes a good clone of this pedal except one that i found called an electronic orange but again cant find one the only other one i found that sounds worth a damn is creepyfingers harakiri fuzz.
so my thing is does anyone know where i can find a good clone of this pedal or maybe has one they would let go of.

thanks guys

Hi there,if I remember right, the Univox gear was made by the same people that made the Colour Sound pedals and the Marshall Supa-Fuzz,an Italian company, don't know if it's related to the Solina and Farfisa companies, but maybe these pedals have a similar sound. They would definetly be cheaper, good luck on your search,Mel.
