Be patient, I've bought an inordinately high quantity of vintage Sunn gear out of the Detroit area over the last several years. Sunn must have been very popular there in the 60's heyday of US auto manufacturing when everybody had money!
I'll make you a deal qtowens, you find me some old West amps (preferably a Fillmore) up there in "West-land", and I'll get you some Sunns!

I've noticed a lot of listings from the Detroit area over the last year or so for Sunn gear. In fact, there's a 200S cabinet listed on Ebay right now.

Just keep your eyes on Craigslist and Ebay.

Ah, the elusive West amps... didn't Mark Farner use those for awhile??? Never had the privilege, always wanted the opportunity to try one. I'll look around, I'll let you know!

There have been some Sunn stuff lately here on CL, and I have had several Sunn products in the past:
412LH (my first bass cab, paired with an old Kustom 250 T'nR head), Beta Bass head (Nice!) and a 100S head (just an old funky head... foolish me...).
