Concert PA Control Amp
« on: February 27, 2010, 03:11:31 pm »
hi i just got ahold of this Sunn Concert PA Control Amp. I don't know much about it, when i got it, it shocked people so i replaced the power cord because it was missing a ground wire. Now it works perfectly fine. I was just wondering a couple of things:
Does anyone have any information about it?

and could i technically use it as a Guitar Head, i know it wont sound as good but would i get a really good vintage tone?

Theres a polarity switch and i read somewhere on here its for if theres no groundwire, but i just dont know what position i should put it in.

thanks for your help

Can you use it as a guitar head? Sure. Plug a guitar into it, run it through a guitar speaker, and wail away! Whether or not it sounds good depends on your ears and what you like.

If the ground wire is wired correctly, the polarity switch is probably disconnected, in which case it makes no difference whatsoever which position you put it in. Put it wherever you think it looks better.
