Some kid on tour posted a craigslist ad in NC and I called him. Seemed to me to be in pretty condition, we'll see when I get it. Shipped for $450. A little steep, but worth it, it's what I sold my first one for.

Actually I'm not, I play both bass and guitar so I want(ed) to build a Sunn brained bass rig and Sunn brained guitar rig.

I'm running the Concert Bass though an Ampeg SVT8x10e and I plan to run the Concert Lead through two Marshall 1960 Lead 4x12s.

No effects.

You could say that, haha.

Ah, okay, so we're kind of in the same boat then or soon to be anyway.
My bass rig is...
Sunn Concert Bass<Ampeg 410HLF

My guitar rig is...
Sunn Beta Lead<Slanted Marshall Vintage Modern 4X12

I'm thinking about getting a 15 for each to make fullstacks and I'll have 2 extra Sunn heads laying around.
A Concert Lead which is on its way and a Concert Slave which I need to get repaired.

The good thing I see about the 15's is I could alternatively do a 2X15 guitar or bass rig as well.
I'm thinking I'll be getting Orange 15's but I'm not sure.

Both of your rigs would probably slay mine though b/c more speakers means more volume.
But I like to be able to get a variety of sounds.

A lot of speakers + Sunn = amazing tone and tonal range + insanely loud

That's all there really is to say about these rigs haha.

I have a gig on Friday night and the head should hopefully get here before I head out for it, if not I'm just gonna have to borrow a stack. I need to pick up a cab or two this week too.

Goddamn, I can't get over this. A few months back someone was selling three Model T cabs loaded G12Ts in them for $100 each. When they e-mailed me back they had already sold all of them...

Haha, no kidding it probably took 5 mins.
You can probably find some sweet deals on used Marshall cabs though.
And theres no denying they look and sound sweet.

Anyway I know you need a 4x12 and I think this is a Bass Cab and its a Fender one but this is still a pretty great deal.
http://cgi.ebay.com/SUNN-410H-4-10-Speaker-Cabinet-/160433850360?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item255a9a47f8

And if I had real loot I'd buy this.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Sunn-300T-bass-amp-w-kt88s-and-flight-case-/280508176970?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item414f971a4a

Those two would make one hell of a rig for under $1500.

But for now I'm more than happy with the lot I've got. Only thing I think I'll be buying is maybe a Beta Bass if I can find one for the right price and some 1x15 Orange Cabs.

Yeah, the deal is with used Marshall cabs is I'm not willing for pay more then $300-$350 but I'd rather trade and most people sell them for $400-$600 and wont trade because they need the money.

I only play 8x10s, that's a 4x10. Haha.

I saw a band play with one of those 300Ts a few weekends back, they had way too much distortion on it but damn was it loud!

Got a 412L on it's way from Chicago!

I'm thinking about getting an early 70s silver knob/face Concert Lead too now. If you've got one to sell let me know!
