running dual amps / wierd noise
« on: May 24, 2010, 09:07:40 pm »
Hey guys. So I'm trying to run two amps at once using a stereo delay pedal. A Concert Lead on one end and a Beta Lead on the other. When used with the pedal individually there is little noise (no more than normal). When both are connected there is a TON of buzzing and humming going on. This happens even if one of the amps is not turned on, just plugged in.

Where should I begin diagnosing this problem? Thanks!

sounds like a ground problem-are both amps plugged into the same circuit-do they have three prong pluggs?

both are 3 prong plugs, but they are plugged into different outlets. across the room from each other.

well, looks like your question answered my question. Plugging them into the same outlet solved the problem. Thanks
