Megalith Fuzz Pedal -- Used By Om/Shrinebuilder

I stumbled across these guys the other day. Check 'em out. The Megalith Fuzz Pedal was used by Al Cisneros on the latest Om album. It was also used by Al, Wino, and Scott Kelly on the Shrinebuilder record. It's pretty rad, and Mountainking Electronics makes a few other far out, trippy, earth-shattering effects.

Not a salesman. Just a fuzz fanboy!

Pedals like this make me wish I had a higher paying job.  I want so many things, but I can't afford them and it disappoints me.  I'm sure alot of people know what I'm taking about.  FML (for now).

looks good but I would've like to ear more of the «more heavy» setting.

with time I tend to like more the crank overdrive tone than crank fuzz tone.

it seems less thin and keep more of the natural texture of the guitar, but it's just me...

they go for around $250

I have been working on getting a comparable rig to Al's incredible GREEN/MATAMP rig.   Al used Model T's during the Shrinebuilder tour, it was cool to hear them as bass amps for a change, they sounded killer.

If you want a cheaper (by about 100) fuzz, try going for the Sanford and Sonny Blue Beard fuzz. I had Sonny custom make one for me, it has my initials scrawled on it. It takes FOREVER for him to get around to it, but it is so worth it. It's very difficult to get a hold of him, but if you can, it's SO worth it

I just ordered mine a while ago, Alan has been in contact with me. I can't wait! I timed it so that my EmperoR cab would wind up here at about the same time that the Megalith did. I will SLAY in about one month
