The Reissue's cap values allow much more low end through than the triangle and ram's head series big muffs.  There's a reason Boris uses the RI.

Huh, I never knew that. If those RI's had the tone bypass switch on them, they would really bring the business then.

The new Big Muff w/ "tone wicker" has a tone bypass and I believe it's the exact same circuit as the RI NYC Big Muffs. I've heard they sound awesome. I'm probably going to get one myself even though I already  have a Russian and an NYC.  All 3 of those still cost me less together than a skreddy or some other such boutique big muff clone.

yeah the Big Muff w/ "tone wicker" with tone bypass sound killer! but not enough definition for me. but still, a powerful melting fuzz tone! just check your amp volume before putting it on in bypass mode because their's a huge volume jump! :-o

I have the Big Muff with Tone Wicker, and it's a decent fuzz .. no doubt. It's all about the tone bypass on that pedal, I swear it.
