Sunn 2x12 help - NOW FOR SALE!

Yesterday I picked up a Sunn 2x12.
It's got the same tolex and grill but the grill looks alittle brownish.
It's an open back which is unusual and I can tell this was not after market.
I have a Sunn 610S and everything matches just cant find any info on this.
The speakers have been replaced but it sounds amazing still.

   Hi there,that's a Solarus 2 x 12" cab,goes with the 40 watt head with 6CA7's,(EL34's) same size as the Sonaro 1 x 15" bass cab,just a different baffle board and a 2 piece back.Nice cab,good luck,Mel.

Great thank you!! Ya it's got 2 Jackson speakers made by eminence which sound like v30s so it's great.
Do you by chance know what kind of speakers were normally in these?

   Hi there,when I got mine,the orig. spkrs. were long gone.I guess stock Sunn's would have been in there,don't know the exact model #,sorry,someone on here probably does though,Mel.

That cab came with original Sunn speakers but I don't know to exact model because they've been swap with Fender speakers when I bought it few years ago. It's dated from between 1969/1971 and came with a 80w Solarus.

The Fender speakers were good for clean but I swap them for 2 Eminence Wizard 16ohm parallel to make a 8 ohm cab for dirt and it sound amazing!

I was going to say something about the original drivers, but, when I went to the garage to take a closer look, I find that I cannot find mine!

Seriously, how does one lose a speaker cabinet? Maybe I left it outside and someone took it...
