Sunn Beta Lead problem
«
on:

I have a Beta Lead that has low output. Both preamps work but the amp is about as loud as conversational speech when cranked up. The outputs of both individual preamps work as well as the main power amp in. If I plug a separate preamp into the master return, I get full volume. Anybody run into this problem before?
THANKS!

Assuming you check the preamp channels seperately and if they are good I'm going to guess that you probably have a damaged output transistor(s).

Hi there, sounds like the prob is between the pre out and the power amp in,as you can get the amp volume by going in the power amp in. Check any/all insert jacks, clean them with DeOxit, look for a bad connection on the pre out, good luck,Mel.
