Solid state rectifier "tube"

Groove tubes makes a solid state rectifier tube replacement which I'm told "tightens up" the sound in older tube amps.  ANyoen tried one of these and knows what it does to one of the Sunn 200S units?

I've never seen the GT unit, but I've used Weber Copper Caps with success in 200S's and 2000S's. They work fine, sort of a compromise, not a real discernable difference in headroom and power like the difference between factory tube rectified and SS rectified 2000S's.

I've used the JJ solid state rectifier replacement and it does tighten up the low end. I much prefer it to tube rectification for playing bass.
