Concert Lead Caps
« on: December 14, 2010, 05:44:18 pm »
Sorry to be redundant! I'm sure someone has asked this before but I didn't have luck with the search function.

I need a few caps for my concert lead which are 250 microfarades and 50 volts. I tried the mouser site but it seems like that's a hard site to navigate for a novice like me. I know people on this board have re-capped concert leads before, any info on where I can find these? I know I can probably find them at mouser but I'm not sure I was finding the right ones. So yeah, any friends who can point me in the right direction it's very well appreciated.

250uF is not a standard value for a capacitor - try 240 - 270 or 300 uF.

Which capacitors specifically? If I had my Concert Lead here at my apartment, I'd open it up and check for you, so next time I get some time with it I can if you want.
Gibson Les Paul Special

Squier Precision Bass MIJ
Science Hellhawk 100w
Ampeg VT-22/V-4
Science Mother

Here you are....a link to a Sprague 250uf 50v cap from Mouser. Just type in the "Enter Quantity" box how many you want and click buy.
